Not fully finished yet, always becoming. The growth through new

spaces explored through simple gestures. Blocked by separation

from all else. Where the unseen becomes the atmosphere. Shifting places as if

the depths of the wind was what moved us all. Becoming finished. A material shielding the most vulnerable within,

Carried and covered - every human.

 

Did textiles turn us into walking installations rather than breathing

nature? Thin layers between your bodily lines and the exterior.

 

From oil on canvas to digitally printed, these artworks explores the foundation of J. Waller's personal relationship between body and exterior, moved in and by textiles.
