Morgen Morgen

Exhibited at Gallery JIB (Tokyo, Japan 2016)

A collaborative group exhibition with Japanese fashion designer Eru Akazawa and fashion photographer Karin Shikata. The concept was to capture the cultural contrast between Tokyo and Berlin. Elliott was asked to interpret a fashion shoot with their artistic point of view, questioning the boundaries and frameworks of fashion illustrations in contrast to fine arts.

 

The models' gender and identity become deconstructed, and clothes which are traditionally drawn in detail, focus instead on the shape, space, and overall atmosphere.
