Digital performance, exhibited in Athens for Festival Miden and Jönköping Museum, Sweden, (2020). The work was also chosen to be featured and documented at the European Union's 2020 AI summit in Dubai, where Elliott Nicole was one of two artists representing Sweden.

 

The work served as a reminder of ethics in the discussions between politicians and stakeholders.

 

Concept:
 

A non-binary person is living their emotions and fighting gravity in dance whilst being scanned by AI. As a result, artificial emotions are being projected through their face which features no mimicry leaving the person in a state of transcendent confusion. Artificial emotional intelligence is already widely used by marketing experts to manipulate humanity into willing consumers.
